Manoa Watershed Project

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) received federal funding in 2006 to prepare Phase 1 of the Manoa Watershed Plan and Environmental Impact Statement to address flood problems in Manoa, such as that which occurred on October 30, 2004. Due to the absence of federal funding for the project in 2007 and 2008, Phase 2 to complete the planning project was cancelled. The Manoa Watershed was incorporated into the Army Corps of Engineers’ Ala Wai Watershed project in 2008. The products below were completed for the Manoa Watershed by the Project Delivery Team and have been transmitted to the Ala Wai Watershed planning team.
